Hammond’s Ferry’s livable streets are designed to calm traffic while accommodating cyclists and pedestrians. Hammond’s Ferry emphasizes people, not cars; a variety of dwellings, not cookie-cutter houses; and narrow, interconnected lanes.

Riverfront Square is the heart of Hammond’s Ferry. Its buildings include convenient apartments, cafes, small stores, and offices. At the center is a swath of lawn crisscrossed with paths and edged by gardens and trees.  

The community consists of more than 200 acres with more than 800 single-family residences, including traditional detached homes and cottages. Other residences will include carriage homes, town homes, apartments, and condominiums. Live/work spaces complete the residential offerings.
