Hammonds Ferry sponsored the A.M. Connection for the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. The event was held at North Augusta Community Center. There were approximately 75 people in attendance at the event. Turner Simkins, Project Manager for Hammond’s Ferry, spoke in reference to the progression of the Hammond's Ferry Traditional Neighborhood Development. He also discussed our future plans for a commercial district and how downtown North Augusta will come to the river through Hammond’s Ferry. Skip Grkovic, Director of Economic and Community Development, was the featured speaker. He spoke about the future development planned for North Augusta. This was a great event. Hammond’s Ferry is pleased to be a member and support the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce.
